About “The Trajectory”

Communication is a very broad field, and it can be accessed in a thousand different ways.
There are high-speed trains (like online courses in marketing, design, copywriting), which take the professional to a specific destination, straight to the point without detours, but they do not allow you to admire the landscape in detail, much less explore it. Let’s say you can learn the “how” (and master Canva or Figma), but you lose the “why”… nobody can teach us composition theory in two hours.

University degrees in design and/or communication are like intercity buses. You can stop in specific areas, go through semiotics, creative writing and, very importantly, make community with the other passengers! Because the ride is long, and we need to learn how to work as a team. Studying communication formally teaches us the many paths we can take professionally.

Someday we start to have our own projects, developing a brand, creating a strategy or a campaign, and the feeling is exactly like having your first car: it’s up to you to decide the route and how to get past the potholes. It’s best to have a license to do it, although not everyone enters through that lane: the reality is that there are many improvised drivers in this profession. But the important thing is to get to know client management: adjusting the number of changes, deadlines and quality of deliveries. Above all, we must learn not to run anyone over along the way.

You can choose any route and any means of transport, but we must never lose the healthy habit of walking: a good communicator will need spaces to be self-taught, to read, get informed, practice at their own pace, and create creative disciplines. Without that minimum daily exercise, the heart cracks. And an unhappy communicator may remain sitting for a long time at a ghost stop, stuck.

Anyway. What has happened to us is that, having stations that connect the subway with the railways, we have found each other after having taken long and rich journeys. We learned how to arrive on time and efficiently, but we also lost our fear of new paths. That is CreaftMedia. A “company” for the journey, that knows the route well and the many ways there are to take it.
